A magnificent Berlin KPM porcelain vase with "weichmalerei"

"Urbino-Vase No.2" model with mascaron handles. Both sides painted with luscious bouquets of flowers and fruit bound by blue ribbons. The neck and base decorated with detailed gilt tendrils and cabochon work. Signed and dated on both sides "P. Miethe 1890", blue sceptre mark, blue dash, red imperial orb mark, grey I., incised I and H. Replaced screw mountings, the waist replaced with a gilt metal connecting ring, restorations to the handles. H 73.5 cm.
