A Berlin KPM porcelain jardiniere with putti

Model no. 3593. Small Jugendstil oval jardiniere. With delicately painted "weichmalerei" bouquets to each side, the swirled rocaille handles terminating in moulded flowers supporting a boy and a girl holding posies. Blue sceptre mark, red imperial orb mark, incised model no. 3593, year letter Z with three dots, purple painter's mark C... and lustre mark 66. (?), impressed HI. Minor retouches to the raised flowers and the edge by the girl. D ca. 39 cm.
1925, this model by Burckhardt Apel, 1891.
