A rare Berlin KPM porcelain vase with views of Sanssoucis Palace

Unidentified baluster form model with lid and putto as handles. Fired in two parts and screw-mounted. Both sides with atmospheric views of the Hohenzollern palace of Sanssouci at dusk and seen from the park in oval reserves. Fine gilt and enamel foliate decor. Signed to both depictions "Jul. Menzel.", blue sceptre mark, red jubilee mark 1763 1913, black painter's mark, year letter L, impressed marks. Lid H 67 cm.
