A Berlin KPM porcelain soup bowl from the service with coloured grapevines

Model no. 1113, from the subsequent order for this dinner service. Decorated with a wreath of red and white grapes. Blue sceptre mark with circle, red imperial orb mark, impressed marks, incised III, blue enamel conjoined owner's monogram of Friedrich Wilhelm IV. With a filled rim chip. D 24.4 cm.
1849 - 1870.

This service was ordered by Frederick William III and his wife Louise, whose penchant for the Neoclassical style lent an entirely new flair to the royal table.
