A large Vienna porcelain cup and saucer with views of Vienna

Of conical form with tall scroll handles and original saucer. The cup painted with a view of St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna, and the saucer with a large panoramic view of the city labelled "Vue de la ville de Vienne, prise du château du Belvédère." With finely etched foliate borders. Blue "bindenschild" mark, year stamps 818 and 819, dreher's number 7.
Vienna, Imperial porcelain manufactory under Matthias Niedermayer, fired in 1818 and 1819, decorated soon after.
