A Vienna porcelain cup and saucer with a painting reproduction

With underglaze cobalt blue (Leithnerblau) decor. Of cylindrical form with angular handle and original saucer. The display side of the cup painted with a classical couple in an oval reserve after a painting by Francesco Bartolozzi. The back of the cup and the saucer decorated with palmettes. Blue "bindenschild" mark, blue dash, brown 96., year stamp 802, dreher's mark.
Vienna, Imperial porcelain manufactory under Konrad von Sorgenthal, fired 1802, painted by Anton Kothgasser after Bartolozzi.
