A Vienna porcelain cup and saucer in the style of Herculaneum

Of cylindrical form with angular handle and original saucer. Decorated with a figure of a winged man in a chariot on black ground and four reserves with fruit, plants, and birds en grisaille and ladies in classical costume. Blue "bindenschild" mark, year number 800.
Vienna, Imperial manufactory under Konrad von Sorgenthal, fired 1800, decorated soon after.
