A Berlin KPM porcelain plate with cameo decor

Model no. 1084. Decorated to the centre with a portrait of a young man in profile with his hair tied back by a band against a dark background in imitation of a sardonyx cameo. Framed by concentric gilt and ornamental bands, the border with tendrils. Blue sceptre mark with iron red dash, light brown cross shaped painter's mark, impressed 19, remnants of an owner's monogram in black: E.A.F.C. for Ernst August Fidei Commis. D 24 cm.
Circa 1817 - 23, the decor attributed to Gottfried Wilhelm Völcker.
