A Vienna porcelain centrepiece with a figural frieze

The shape inspired by an Ancient Greek skyphos on four pad feet with auriform handles and original saucer. With faux marble decor, a frieze of classical figures, and arabesque borders. Blue "bindenschild" mark, year stamps 804 and 803, dreher's number 59 for Joseph Rammersberger.
Vienna, Imperial porcelain manufactory under Konrad von Sorgenthal, fired 1803 and 1804, decorated soon after.
