An exceptional Berlin KPM porcelain plate with Roman trophies

Model no. 1084. The well decorated with a large bundle of Roman trophies including various shields, a breastplate, a helm, and a quiver beneath the aquila. The border decorated with a band of standard motifs and a repeating pattern of soldiers kneeling behind shields. Blue sceptre mark, gilt 125, impressed 116, incised III. D 24.6 cm.
Circa 1815.

Alongside the large "Feldherrenservice", KPM also produced individual pieces with military motifs in the aftermath of the German Campaign, which were presented by the Prussian court for extraordinary service.
