A Berlin KPM porcelain plate with botanical decor

Model no. 1113. Decorated to the well with a depiction of the rare iris "Ferraria undulata.", inscribed to the reverse with the Latin name and "Cap de bonne espérance." Bordered by a wreath of the same flower. Blue sceptre mark with pale blue dash, gilt A:, impressed 16, incised III. D 24.3 cm.
1803 - 13, presumably after a motif by Pierre Jean François Turpin.
