From the series of commedia dell'arte figures made for Duke Johann Adolf II of Saxony-Weissenfels. The figure of Colombine depicted dancing on a grassy knoll with castanets in her left hand and a theatre mask in her right. Blue crossed swords mark to the back of the base. H 13.2 cm.
