Two blue and white Arita dishes. Around 1700

Decorated in underglaze-blue with the Scheveningen design of three Dutchmen in a landscape with a light house, sail boats and a village with a church tower, the rim with a stylised wave design, the back with three stylised flower sprays. Glaze chips to the rim. (2)
