A slender Satsuma vase. Kyoto. Around 1900
Finely pained in enamels with a narrow band around the body depicting a spring landscape and three roundels painted in gold with a pavilion built out into a lake, chrysanthemums by a trellis and hagi under a crescent moon, all on a shiny black ground with small morning glories. Impressed mark Kinkôzan zô underneath the glaze.
