A fine Mongolian gilt bronze figure of a scholar

Seated on a lotus flower base, both hands resting in his lap supporting a kalasa, wearing a finely incised jacket and mantle covering both shoulders and legs, his head covered with a hat of the Gelugpa school. Base sealed and incised with a double-vajra.
