A red lacquer vase carved with a scene from the novel "The Dream of the Red Chamber" with Lin Daiyu in a wheelchair attended by assistants and monks. Buddhist symbols between decorative borders around the neck and to the lid. Apocryphal six-character Chenghua mark above the foot. Restored.
