A bronze vase by Kankei. Takaoka. Second half 20th century

Of pear shape with vertical lines in silver and engraving. Signed with an impressed mark Kankei. Tomobako, the lid inscribed Tôdô ginsenmon tokkuri katachi kabin (Flower vase in shape of a tokkuri of Chinese bronze with a pattern of silver lines) and signed and sealed Kankei, the reverse of the lid impressed with the characters Kanazawa shi Hisayasu dai ni tochi kukaku seiri jigyô kankô kinnen (in memory of the completion of the second land readjustment in Kanazawa City).
Height 20 cm

Hannya Kankei (born 1933) lived in Takaoka and supposedly studied metalwork under Katori Masahiko (1899-1988).
