A three-case silver-plated inrô. Late 19th century, possibly after 1891
Displaying a young mother weaving a bamboo courtain (sudare) placed over a frame and a young boy with a tengu mask sitting in front of it and frightening a cat jumping up the frame, on the reverse hibiscus, susuki and a butterfly in engraving. Gilding to the inside. Small metal ojime with a prunus branch and flying bird and a kagamibuta with a disc of white metal engraved with a landscape and an imitation carved lacquer bowl.
