Comprising six forks and six spoons, the underside with the attached coat-of-arms of the princes of Shakhovskoy. L ca. 18.5 cm, total weight 758 g.
Marks of Abraham IV Warnberger, 1781 - 83, one fork a later addition with St. Petersburg marks.
The princely house of Shakhovskoy was among the oldest noble families in Russia and produced many important diplomats and generals from the Middle Ages onwards.
