Hinrich Lehmmeyer, 1659.

Little is known about the Lehmmeyer family of bronze casters (also written Lehmeyer or Lehmeier). They were active in the Stralsund area and are thought to have cast mortars alongside gunmetal and bells. A large Holy Trinity bell which is still housed in its original setting in the Marienkirche in Stralsund and bears the signature "DURCH HITZ UND FEUR BIN ICH GEFLOSSEN ADAM LEHMEIER HADT MICH GEGOSSEN IM NAMEN DER HEILIGEN DREIFALTIGKEIT GOT SEI GELOBET IN EWICHKEIT" is one of few works securely attributed to the family. Another caster named Johann Lehmeyer (died 1705 in Glückstadt) is mentioned in Thieme/Becker as a mortar caster and a citizen of Stralsund (21/22, p. 584). So far, no archival evidence of Hinrich Lehmmeyer has been discovered.
