An extensive Neopolitan nativity scene

Polychrome terracotta and wood figures with glass eyes, fabric clothing and wax details. Comprising figures of Mary, Joseph (H 30.5 cm), baby Jesus, a kneeling shepherd, a peasant woman with a basket of grapes, a donkey, an ox, a sheep, a clothed angel in flight, two angels without clothes, a larger older shepherd figure (H 35 cm), and a larger younger shepherd (H 32.5 cm). Two of the Christ Child's fingers lost, the horns and ears of the ox and sheep reattached with glue. H ox 13 cm.
