An unusual French Napoleon III cabinet

Ebonised wood, ebony and brass inlays on oak corpus, mahogany, ormolu mountings, iron locks, and white marble top. The lower section with two doors and a drawer, the open upper section with two shelves flanked by slender columns. All visible faces with boulle marquetry decor. H 181, W 101, D 47.5 cm.
