A rare Meissen porcelain tea urn with naturalistic flowers

With fire-gilt bronze mountings. Pear-form vase on three rocaille supports, the original domed lid with a rose finial. Painted with flower bouquets. Blue crossed swords mark (the glaze of the base presumably ground down in the manufactory). One foot reattached, the edge of the lid chipped, the gilding retouched. H 32.6 cm.
