A boxwood and ivory netsuke of Shôki with oni. 19th century

The demon queller sits on a large tied-up bag with two oni inside trying to free themselves. One of the two oni heads, its claws and one himotôshi lining of green-stained ivory. The Shôki's eye pupils inlaid in black horn. Signed Kogyoku on a slightly raised oval reserve.
