Gilt copper mounted porcelain snuff box decorated to six faces with battle scenes from the Seven Years' War. The inside of the lid finely painted with a depiction of Saxon cavalrymen pursuing Prussian soldiers. Unmarked. A chip to the inside of the lid, wear to the glaze on the underside. H 4.5, W 9.1, D 6.9 cm.
Attributed to Meissen, circa 1760.
