Model no. 189. Decorated with bouquets, insects, and trailing gilt foliage. Blue sceptre mark, gold painter's mark ., impressed + K 3. Some localised wear to the gilding. D 25.5 cm.
1768.

In January and February 1786, Friedrich II commissioned his manufactory with the production of a large service for Berlin Palace. He requested it to be "colourfully painted with naturalistic flowers and a few insects alongside a gilt border". The service was delivered the same year.
