Two Berlin KPM porcelain cups and saucers with allegorical depictions

Model no. 809 with grecian style handles. Decorated to the display sides with depictions of the three graces and allegories of painting and sculpture. Both saucers inscribed "La Peinture at la Sculpture" and "Qu'elles veillent sur Votre Sort". Blue sceptre mark with and without blue enamel dash above, painter's marks and impressed marks. One handle restored, the basal ring of one saucer ground down.
