An early Meissen porcelain teapot with pastoral landscapes

Rounded form with gilt spout and handle issuing from mascarons. With depictions of ruins and shepherds in landscapes within gilt surrounds reserved on a sea green ground. Blue crossed swords mark with slightly pronounced pommels, the basal ring incised /. Minor retouches to the gilt rim. H with lid 13 cm.
