A rare Meissen porcelain figure of a fisherman with his net

Figure of a young fisherman standing on an earth mound base encrusted with flowers and foliage, pulling a heavily laden net on land and holding a fish in his right hand. With blue crossed swords mark to the back of the base, unglazed underside. Restored. H 19.5 cm.
Around 1745, modelled by Johann Joachim Kaendler.
