A rare Silesian glass goblet with allegorical scenes

The hexagonal cuppa decorated to three faces alternating with three blank faces. Screw-mounted to the facetted baluster form shaft. Decorated with various emblems in large scroll frames and inscribed: AURO CONCILIATUR AMOR / STIMULARE MEUM / TANDEM ERUAR. Some minor chips to the rim of the foot. H 30.5 cm.
Lower Silesia, possibly Schreiberhau (Szklarska Poreba), 1st quarter 18th C.

The emblems in the scroll frames can be seen in a similar form in Saxony (in: Haase, Sächsisches Glas, Leipzig-Munich 1988, p. 146 f., cat. no. 154 ff.
The shape of the glass could possibly be localised to Brandenburg (cf. cat. Herrliche Künste und Manufacturen, Berlin 2001, no. 144, no. 150, no. 200, no. 217.
