An Italian bronze figure of Juno, around 1600

Chased bronze figure cast in the round and with old patina.. A standing figure of the ancient Roman goddess designed to be viewed in the round. She stands in contrapposto clothed in a drapery with her attribute, the peacock, beside her.
A casting fault on the back of the right forearm. A breakage to the left foot. A breakage to the reverse between the thighs. Mounted on a round marble plinth. Height 33 cm (without plinth)..
