An ivory netsuke of Shoki on a high table with an oni. Around 1800

The demon catcher is seated on a high, three-legged table, beneath which the imp hides, ready to jump. Finely carved, engraved and with some dark accents. Beautiful, golden-yellow to brownish patina.
Height 7.3 cm
