An ivory netsuke of a dragon. 18th century

Carved with a ball in its open jaws. The slightly curved horns reach to its back and flames emanate from its joints, its scales darkly accentuated. A nice golden-yellow and partly reddish patina. Finely carved and engraved.
Length 9 cm
