A Jugendstil 14k and coloured gemstone pendant necklace

A large pectoral pendant in the manner of the Vienna Secession designed as a pierced scroll motif with three large grey Ceylon star sapphires (diameter 9.4 mm), 20 small blue sapphires, three green jade cabochons and one ruby cabochon. Suspended from a three-stranded chain interspersed with five moonstone cabochons and five pear-cut Ceylon sapphires. Hallmarks: Fineness 585. Pendant: H 4.6 x 4.1 cm. Total H 9 cm. Chain length can be adjusted to 39 or 43 cm. Weight 35.14 g.
