A 14k white gold and platinum Art Deco aquamarine brooch

Designed as a stylised buckle encrusted with transition-, brilliant-, and 8/8-cut diamonds (in total c. 1.80 ct, H-K, vs-si) and eight calibrated aquamarines. In the centre a Brazilian modified step-cut aquamarine (c. 36.36 ct, c. 23.24 x 17.36 x12.74 mm, intense "Santa Maria" colour). Hinged double pin clasp. Hallmarks: Austrian import mark for platinum/gold, 1922 - 1954 (Neuwirth, Tafel 8, 12). L 5 cm. Total weight 36.80 g.
