A scarab amulet necklace

Hand-forged 18k gold chain necklace with flat links alternating with gold nuggets, with a corresponding clasp. The 22k forged gold pendant in the antique revival style set with a pale green steatite scarab amulet inscribed "Men Cheper Re" for Thutmosis III and an ancient gold nugget with a stylised depiction of a sphinx. Including a copy of the original design sketch. Hand signed and dated "Skoluda '84". Pendant H 3 cm. Necklace L 41 cm. Total weight 28.46 g.
