Three items of Meissen porcelain from a tea service with merchant navy scenes in iron red

Comprising a teapot with a small lid and a spherical finial and a tea bowl with original saucer. All items finely painted with detailed harbour scenes within opulent gold and purple lustre cartouches, the saucer with a rare nocturnal landscape with a camp fire in the foreground. Fine gilt tendril rims. Blue crossed swords mark, 5. in gold (coffee pot and saucer), dreher's mark oo for Johann Gottlieb Kühnel sen. (saucer). H teapot 9.5 cm.
Circa 1730, the decor attributed to Christian Friedrich Herold.
