(coffee pot), 60. in purple and pressnummer 64 (saucer). The spout of the coffee pot restored, minor rim chips. H coffee pot 14 cm.
Circa 1745 - 50.

The manufactory began collecting engravings with so-called Watteau motifs in the 1740s at the initiative of Count Hennicke. The images, based on works by Antoine Watteau, Nicolas Lancret or Jean Baptiste Pater, formed the basis for numerous scenes of elegant couples walking or making music in park landscapes, which slowly superseded the Hoeroldt Chinoiseries. Particular attention was afforded to a service with these motifs in green camaieu produced on occasion of the 10 year wedding anniversary of Princess Maria Amalia Christina of Saxony and King Charles III of Naples in the year 1748.
