A pair of Louis XV period ormolu wall appliques

Wall appliques cast in several parts and screw-mounted. With curved acanthus branches and fanciful floral swags. Both wall mountings stamped with a crowned C mark. With closed drilled holes from former wiring, the drip pans with later covers. H c. 31, W c. 22 cm.
Paris, 1745 - 49, model presumably made c. 1730.
