A Meissen porcelain beaker and saucer with an early Hoeroldt Chinoiserie

Decorated with finely painted figures, a bird and insects in large gilt surrounds with purple lustre and purple feathers. The inner rims with gilt tendrils. The cauldron monogrammed FHH or FHft. 1 in gold on beaker and saucer, beaker with dreher's mark with two dots for Johann Martin Kittel jun., the saucer incised /. Minor wear to the gilding. H beaker 7.4, D saucer 13.5 cm.
Before 1723, decor attributed to Johann Gregorius Hoeroldt, c. 1725.
