A pair of rare Meissen porcelain models of camels

Figures of striding camels in ornamental parade garb with golden tassels and feathers, one with a pale purple and one with a green saddle blanket. Finely painted coat and details. Unglazed bases, one with a large crossed swords mark with a dot. The tassels and feathers restored and reattached, one replaced tassel broken off (but included). H 20.7 cm.
