Vintage chromogenic print. 48.1 x 38 cm (mat opening). Flush-mounted to card. Mention of the former owner in an unknown hand in ballpoint pen as well as business card of the latter affixed to the reverse of the mount. - Slight discoloration due to age. Mounted firmly under original mat.

The present vintage print of the well-known motif is unsusual due to its good preservation in the original mat and for its large format. In contrast to the chromogenic prints of a much smaller format, usually 20.3 x 23.3 cm, which were printed in larger numbers, prints of this size are very rare. They were reserved for NASA's senior scientists, state guests, Hasselblad executives, or, as in our case, Kodak managers from whom NASA purchased its photographic material.
