Oil on canvas, mounted on wooden panel 67 x 50 cm Framed. Monogrammed 'iK' in red lower right, dated '35' in white below.

The person depicted here is the artist's older brother, Victor Kerkovius (Riga 1878-1948 Stuttgart), with whom she had a very close relationship. The portrait was made in the summer of 1935 in Riga, where the trained merchant Victor Kerkovius led the company "E.E. Kerkovius & Co." and held numerous honorary positions in the 1920s.
