A bronze Shisou incense burner. Qing dynasty

In the shape of an archaic vessel of ding type, on three tall tubular feet, and with two rounded handles set vertically onto the rim, the body decorated with sun, phoenixes and clouds in fine silver wire inlay, below the rim twenty-seven characters in seal script, the feet with flower vases, to the underside two characters reading Shisou.
