A wadded embroidered satin blanket. Around 1900

Displaying two large chrysanthemum bushes and picking birds on the ground, all rendered in pastel-coloured satin stitches on a dark red ground. Lined with yellow silk (two small torn areas). Along the edges a stitched on twisted cord and tassels at the corners.
