A cast iron necklace with Neoclassical motifs

Black patinated cast iron. Comprised of 15 finely pierced links and a clasp formed as a pair of hands. The three oval links decorated with allegories of day and night after Bertel Thorvaldsen and a group of amoretti. The reverse decorated with a vine leaf frieze. L 45 cm.
