A round cast iron plaque with a portrait of Princess Luise

Black patinated cast iron. Relief bust depicting the princess facing right, with her hair done up and wearing a ruffled collar and drapery. Engraved on the reverse “Luise Augusta Wilhelmina Amalia Princes Van Pruyßen”. The hanging loop missing. D 8.3 cm.
Prussian iron foundry, presumably produced for the Dutch market, the model by Leonhard Posch, c. 1825.
