A cast iron plaque with the Virgin Mary

Black patinated cast iron. Round plaque with a half-length depiction of the Virgin Mary in a moulded surround. Engraved “579” on the reverse. The modern hanging loop soldered on. The modern hanging loop soldered on. D 13 cm.
Prussian iron foundry, model attributed to Leonhard Posch, c. 1820.
