A cast iron statuette of Sir Walter Scott

Black patinated cast iron with slight lustre. Full figure depiction of the author standing on a column entwined by ivy holding a scroll inscribed “Waverly”. Engraved on the back of the plinth “Dep a d. Künste d ..... Berlin Deveranne”. H 19.5 cm.
