A Meissen porcelain teapot with Chinoiserie motifs

Slightly tapering, globular vessel with a faceted, acanthus clasped spout. With the original lid. Decorated with Chinoiserie figures on earth mound bases. Blue crossed swords mark, dreher's number 11, 49 in gold. With a minute chip to the spout, the gilding partially reapplied. H 9 cm.
Ca. 1740, the décor attributed to Christian Friedrich Herold.
